What is the fee to attend the WDC2020? Are any special rates available?
Fees to attend the WDC2020 are outlined here. Discounts are available to IAWP members, early registrants and groups that register 5 or more.

What meals are included in the conference registration fee?
A light continental style breakfast will be offered on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Heavy hors d’oeuvre to a light meal will be offered at the closing celebration.
What is included in my registration?
A full conference registration includes access to all educational events as well as the WDC Closing Party on Wednesday, July 1.
How do I register to attend the WDC Networking Night event?
This year's WDC Networking night take place Tuesday, June 30 at the Skull Bar at PNC Park. Registration includes a ticket to the Pittsburgh Pirates vs Colorado Rockies game, dinner, drink ticket, and exclusive access to the SKull Bar at PNC Park. $49 for IAWP Members, $69 for Non-Members.
I am bringing a guest, I can purchase additional tickets?
Yes, a full registrant may purchase tickets for guests for add on events including WDC Networking Night, WDC Closing Party, Retiree Brunch, IAWP Day, and the pre-conference seminar.

When will a downloadable program be available?
An initial list of speakers will be available in late March. By the end of April the full conference program will be available to download.
What continuing education credits are available?
Continuing education credit hours toward the completion of the Certified Workforce Professional offered by the International Association of Workforce Professionals.

Sunday, June 28 - IAWP Day is an opportunity for IAWP leaders to get together to share best practices, network, and develop some new skills. Free for IAWP members, $29 for non-members

Is there a conference hotel with special rates for conference attendees?

Discounted accommodations beginning at $125 (excluding tax and fees) are available to guests of the 2020 Workforce Development Conference, as space permits. The deadline to secure discounted accommodations is June 4, 2020, and a refundable deposit equal to one-night’s room and tax is required at the time of reservation.

What parking options are available at the conference hotel? What is the cost?
Guests of the Workforce Development Conference can enjoy a discounted rate of $28 for overnight, valet parking at the Omni William Penn (a discount of $6 per day). Weekday self-parking is $19 per day. Weekend self-parking is $6 per day.
Do you still plan to hold WDC2020?
At this writing, IAWP remains committed to hosting the 2020 Workforce Development Conference in Pittsburgh, June 28 - July 1, 2020. The health and safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff is our uncompromising priority, so we are monitoring and will continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 outbreak closely.
Should I purchase make my travel arrangements for the conference?
We recommend that your refrain from purchasing any travel that is not fully refundable. We will provide you with regular updates on the status of the 2020 Workforce Development Conference
Will there be any special precautions take during the conference?
As the conference approaches we will work closely with the Omni William Penn on any necessary precautions such as sanitizing tables and frequently touched areas on an ongoing basis.
What can I do?
We encourage you to take all precautions necessary to keep yourself healthy prior to the conference. This includes:
-Following all local, state, and federal requirements for limiting exposure, self-quarantine, and/or sheltering in place
-When you must go out, maintain proper social distance of 6+ feet
-Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash
-Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
-Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects daily
What attire is appropriate?
Business casual is appropriate for all daytime events and casual attire is suitable for evening events. Comfortable walking shoes and a light sweater or jacket are also recommended. Cocktail to semi-formal attire is encouraged for the closing celebration.
